Author Biography

Maria Heliodora do Vale Romeiro Collaço, Universidade de Uberaba - Uniube, Brasil

Vice-Rector for Higher Education at Universidade de Uberaba. University Lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Doctorate in Education (in progress). Holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Business Relations Law from Universidade de Franca, São Paulo, Brazil. Holds a Specialization in Public Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais – PUC MINAS, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Bachelor’s degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito do Sul de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. University Lecturer with experience in the fields of Law and Administration, with an emphasis on General Theory of Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, Urban Law, Agrarian Law, Administrative Law, Educational Law; Public Administration, Governance, and Compliance. Has extensive experience in academic management of Higher Education Institutions and coordination of Law programs.

As an academic manager, has experience with regulatory processes with the Ministério da Educação – MEC, including legal acts for course authorization and recognition, institutional accreditation and reaccreditation (both in-person and distance education). Member of the Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior BASis / INEP/MEC (Evaluator of Programs and Higher Education Institutions). Was responsible for organizing (and participating in) several academic, outreach, scientific initiation, and research events, including those related to education and the dissemination of science and technology; training courses and continuing education for higher education faculty and academic managers.

Has extensive experience in producing institutional documents (institutional development plan, institutional pedagogical project, course pedagogical project, general regulations); experience in technical production and development of didactic and instructional materials. Member of the Editorial Board of Scientific Journals. Member of Collegiate Management and Advisory Bodies in Higher Education. Experience as Reviewer for the Guia do Estudante journal, published by Editora Abril. Experience supervising undergraduate research and final papers. Has published several scientific articles and book chapters, with works cited by researchers throughout the country. Lawyer and Legal Consultant, with active professional registration at OAB/MG under no. 57.392. Speaker and Lecturer.
