Author Biographies

Florisvaldo Cardozo Bomfim Junior, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Automation Engineer working on the development of software and artificial intelligence tools (Genetic Algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks, and Fuzzy Logic) aimed at improving industrial processes and products, as well as designing control and automation logic for PLCs. He is a professor, both in-person and online, in technology courses covering control systems, industrial process modeling, advanced control systems, artificial intelligence, and electrical installations. He holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, both with an emphasis on industrial automation, and specializes in energy generation with a focus on biodigesters. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate and holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in applied artificial intelligence.

Cristiano Dorça Ferreira, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Currently serves as a faculty member at Universidade de Uberaba and a Civil Engineer at Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro, with a primary focus on water supply networks.

Wagner Cardoso, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Holds a degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade de Araraquara (UNIARA), a specialization in University Teaching from the Universidade de Uberaba (UNIUBE), a Master's degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade de Araraquara (UNIARA), and is a PhD candidate in Production Engineering at the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP). He is the Manager of the Production Engineering and Logistics programs, Coordinator of NUPEIA (Núcleo de Práticas de Engenharia, Tecnologia da Informação e Arquitetura), and a Professor in Production Engineering, Administration, and Logistics (On-Campus), as well as in Production Engineering, Administration, Technology in Management Processes, Technology in Quality Management, and Logistics (Distance Education).
