Completed a postgraduate specialization in Systems Analysis at UNAERP. Currently serves as a tenured professor at the University of Uberaba, teaching in the Information Systems, Computer Engineering, and Digital Games programs. Has extensive experience in the field of Computer Science, with a focus on mathematics, computing, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, mathematical modeling, systems analysis and development, mobile programming, and technology applied to education. In administrative roles, previously worked as Information and Communication Technology Manager for Distance Education (ICT EAD) and currently serves as Relationship Manager at the Directorate of Digital Transformation at the University of Uberaba. Has significant experience in the development of applications for distance education, having actively participated in the conceptualization, design, and technical-pedagogical development of the University of Uberaba’s Virtual Learning Environment (AVA UNIUBE). Currently works directly in student relationship management at UNIUBE.

Maria Barbara Soares e Abrão, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas – PUC-Campinas (2003). Completed postgraduate specializations in Teacher Education for Distance Learning at the Federal University of Paraná – UFPR and in Computer Network Management at the University of Uberaba – UNIUBE. Earned a degree in Data Processing Technology from UNIUBE and a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy from the Federal University of São Carlos – UFSCar. Currently works as a lecturer in Applied Computing in several undergraduate programs at the University of Uberaba – UNIUBE. Serves as an Instructional Designer at the Distance Education Center (NEAD) of the Faculdades Associadas de Uberaba – FAZU. Between 2003 and 2022, was part of the Distance Education Program team at UNIUBE, where she also worked as a course tutor in Pedagogy and Engineering programs between 2015 and 2016. Has professional experience in the field of Education, with emphasis on Distance Education.
