Abstract

Agriculture, being fundamental to the economy, faces constant challenges such as crop selection, investment management, and the promotion of sustainability. The Terra e Riqueza project seeks to connect the agricultural sector with gaming technology by creating an interactive simulator where players can manage plantations, administer resources, and make strategic decisions. The proposal is to provide a practical educational experience, where users learn about the challenges of modern agriculture in an engaging way. With a dynamic approach, the game facilitates the understanding of concepts and practices in the agricultural sector, offering an entry point for those with no prior knowledge or interest in the area.

Author Biographies

Florisvaldo Cardozo Bomfim Junior, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Automation Engineer working on the development of software and artificial intelligence tools (Genetic Algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks, and Fuzzy Logic) aimed at improving industrial processes and products, as well as designing control and automation logic for PLCs. He is a professor, both in-person and online, in technology courses covering control systems, industrial process modeling, advanced control systems, artificial intelligence, and electrical installations. He holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, both with an emphasis on industrial automation, and specializes in energy generation with a focus on biodigesters. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate and holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in applied artificial intelligence.

Leandro Aureliano da Silva, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia – UFU (2018), a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos – USP (2007), and a Professional Specialization in Industrial Process Automation from Universidade de Uberaba (2007). Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Universidade de Uberaba (2001). Has experience in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Telecommunications Systems, Automation, and Digital Signal and Image Processing. Former Professor and Coordinator of the Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Systems programs at Faculdade de Talentos Humanos – FACTHUS (Ecossistema Brasília Educacional), both on-campus and online. Served as Editor-in-Chief of the Jornal de Engenharia, Tecnologia e Meio Ambiente – JETMA. Was Coordinator of the Institutional Evaluation Committee – CPA at FACTHUS and a member of the national NDE of the Ecossistema Brasília Educacional. Currently a Professor and Program Manager at Universidade de Uberaba – UNIUBE. Editor-in-Chief of the Revista de Engenharia, TI e Inovação (ISSN: 2966-2508). Scientific article reviewer. Member of the Evaluators' Database of the National Higher Education Evaluation System (BASIS).

Mateus de Sousa Valente, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Specialist in Java Technology from UTFPR (2018), Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity from Faculdade Eficaz (2021), Cloud Computing and Mobile Applications from Faculdade Eficaz (2022), WebMobile Technologies and Development from Faculdade Eficaz (2022), Software Architecture from Faculdade Eficaz (2022), and Database Administration. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Uniube (2020) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Uniube (2022). Has experience in the field of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Computing Systems, focusing primarily on web, mobile, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Currently works at Uniube as a Systems Developer and Professor in the Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Data Science, and Computer Engineering programs.
