Author Biographies

Florisvaldo Cardozo Bomfim Junior, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Automation Engineer working on the development of software and artificial intelligence tools (Genetic Algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks, and Fuzzy Logic) aimed at improving industrial processes and products, as well as designing control and automation logic for PLCs. He is a professor, both in-person and online, in technology courses covering control systems, industrial process modeling, advanced control systems, artificial intelligence, and electrical installations. He holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, both with an emphasis on industrial automation, and specializes in energy generation with a focus on biodigesters. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate and holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in applied artificial intelligence.

Specialist in Java Technology from UTFPR (2018), Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity from Faculdade Eficaz (2021), Cloud Computing and Mobile Applications from Faculdade Eficaz (2022), WebMobile Technologies and Development from Faculdade Eficaz (2022), Software Architecture from Faculdade Eficaz (2022), and Database Administration. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Uniube (2020) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Uniube (2022). Has experience in the field of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Computing Systems, focusing primarily on web, mobile, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Currently works at Uniube as a Systems Developer and Professor in the Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Data Science, and Computer Engineering programs.

Paulo Limírio da Silva, Universidade de Uberaba - UNIUBE, Brasil

Holds a degree in Data Processing Technology from Universidade de Uberaba (1991) and a postgraduate degree in Computer Networks, also from Universidade de Uberaba (1999). Holds a Licenciatura Plena in Informatics from CEFET do Paraná (2005). Obtained a Professional Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Uberaba (2020). Has worked as a professor at Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas do Triângulo Mineiro – FCETM and Faculdade de Talentos Humanos – Facthus. Served as both a professor and Director of DETIC – Department of Information and Communication Technology at the Department of Education of the Municipal Government of Uberaba. Also worked as an hourly lecturer at Universidade de Uberaba from February 2006 to May 2010, when he transitioned to a full-time teaching contract in both on-campus and distance learning programs at Universidade de Uberaba. Has experience in the field of Computer Science, with emphasis on Computer Science. Areas of knowledge include: Applied Informatics, Discrete Mathematics, Cisco Packet Tracer application, Cisco Computer Networks, Algorithms and Data Structures, Management Information Systems, and Information Security Technology.
